Cannot comment on article, need a subscription for this article, but my personal belief is that abortion should be kept legal, it is great to talk about morality, and teen pregnancy, etc... but I worked for a major mental health company at one point and some of those history if those kids they already was out of the game before it started. It Is great to say as adults you have choices but 9 out of 10 foster care kid ends up homeless before 21, our prisons are filled with kids/adults that were seriously horrifically abused. The #1cause of death in this country for a child under age 5 is child a
Oh! I didn't know it needed a subscription! 😆 but you do touch on some Good points. I have mixed feelings about this. I feel like if you can't take care of a child you should not have one! But on the other side, I feel like God gave you a gift that most people can't have! I know of couples who cannot have children, yet some people that can abuse them! 😞

I get that there are lots of couples who would make amazing parents who can't have kids, but studies have shown that most couples are interested in adopting white, healthy, babies. That is why adoption from Eastern Europe was a big thing until they realized most of those babies had severe mental health issues. Then the next group is Chinese girls because the stereotype that Asian (is that the right word now) are talented, smart, dignified and proper. We have foster care kids sleeping in offices because of a lack of homes.

I think it's more of a personal emotion type of situation. I hate seeing kids in foster homes, but I always think that's better than no home! Yet at the same token no child should have to be Born to go through that!
