I understand the laws and HIPAA but I honestly feel when you are on trial for murder you shouldn’t have any rights. That information could be critical to his motive of killing the CEO of that medical company. Was he being refused treatment due to a serious medical condition or just refused medical insurance, etc? It baffles me that criminals have more right than the ones they murder. If information is kept from the prosecutor how are they supposed to prove he’s guilty? Thats probably why we have so many murders on the streets as it’s too hard to prove they’re guilty with hidden evidence.
